School Under the Sun: Together We Give Schools Energy, Stability and Confidence in Tomorrow

The Ministry of Education is already officially urging schools to prepare for long power outages this winter. Recommendations include moving part of the school year to June 2026, extending winter holidays, switching to a six-day week or even introducing two shifts. Schools are also advised to consider asynchronous learning so students can continue studying even when electricity is unstable.

These forced measures show once again that energy independence for educational institutions is critical. This is why we created the School Under the Sun project, which helps Ukrainian schools install solar panels, receive their own backup power and work steadily even during blackouts.

For children, this means safer learning. For teachers, it means the ability to do their work without constant interruption. For communities, it is an investment in resilience and development.
